2026 Road Projects Overview: Heg Park Road: From Hwy 36 R.O.W. to S. Loomis Road/Northern Town Hall Driveway Limits Heg Park Road Project is an LRIP project. Pulverize, fine grade, and compact roadway, create butt joints or removal of existing materials for a smooth transition at project limits and driveways, install 4" of asphalt pavement on roadway, install a 2 foot limestone shoulder after paving completion. Completion Date: Roadwork limits will be coordinated through the Town Public Works Superintendent Curt Oliver, 262-492- 1105. All work will be substantially completed by September 1, 2026. The Contractor will be penalized $250 for each day, including weekends, for work that is completed past completion date. If circumstances beyond Contractor's control warrant an extension, a written documentation stating the circumstances and extension needed will be submitted for Approval or Denial. The Town Board reserves the right to collect or waive any or all penalties. Submittals: Job-Mix Designs: Contractor shall submit Asphalt Mix design for all proposed work prior to the placement of material. Material Certificates: Provide material weight receipts at the close of each working day to the Engineer or Town Representative. If Engineer or Town Representative is not present, provide weight receipts the next working day. Provide a copy of density reports per Wisconsin Standard Specification 460.3.3. Bids must be accompanied by a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond on the prescribed form payable to the owner in an amount not less than 5% of the Total Bid Price as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Agreement, Performance and Payment Bonds, and Insurance Certifications, as required by the Contract Documents, within 15 days after the Notice of Award. Contractors are required to pay not less than the prevailing rates on the project as established by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Commerce pursuant to Section 66.293 of the Wisconsin Statutes. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or portions thereof, waive any informalities in bidding, or to accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the interest of Owner. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled opening of the Bids without the consent of the Owner.
