Amendment #2: Quote Validity: The purpose of this amendment is to revise the required period of quote validity. Vendors are hereby notified that all quotations submitted in response to this solicitatin must remain valid for a minimum of 180 calandar days following the proposal/quote due date. This requirement supersedes any previous reference to quote validity through October 31, 2026. All other requirements remain in full force and effect. Amendment #1: Site Visit Details: A site visit is scheduled for June 3, 2026 at 8:30 AM CST. You will report to the Visitor Center upon arrival to be sponsored on. All Contractors/Visitors must comply with Vance AFB access requirements, including Real ID compliant identification and adherence to installation security procedures, along with vehicle registration and current insurance. The work includes Taxiway A repairs and incidental related work, as shown and noted in the construction drawings. In general, concrete slab replacement with associated subbase and base work, full and partial depth concrete patching, joint seal replacement and removal thatch and restoring side with sod along the pavement/sod boundary. Project boundaries are in continuous operation most weekdays and Sunday afternoons. Repair work will primariy performed during hours when the airfield is closed to aircraft traffic. Generally, working hours will be evenings/nights and Saturdays. Work on Federal Holidays may be permitted, if approved in advance by the Contruction Manager and Airfield Manager. Specific areas are delineated on the plans that permit work during typical business hours. The plans are prepared showing two distinct phases of work, phase 1 and phase 2. Refer to solicitation documents for instruction on bidding phases. Repair of Taxiway A at Vance Air Force Base consisting of two separately priced and independently awardable phases. Work includes concrete pavement removal and replacement, full- and partial-depth pavement repairs, joint seal removal and replacement, reconstruction of base and subbase, earthwork and excavation, geotextile installation where required, pavement markings, turf and sod restoration, and compliance with all airfield operational, safety, and access restrictions. All construction activities shall be performed in accordance with the project specifications and drawings provided with the solicitation. Phase 1 requires completion of all work identified as Phase 1 in the drawings and specifications. Phase 2 is an optional phase and requires completion of all work identified as Phase 2 in the drawings and specifications.
