The successful bidder shall provide all labor, material, tools, and equipment needed to complete the portions of the work designated by the supervisors. The replacement structure is an 8'-1" span x 6'-1" rise, aluminum structural plate pipe-arch. The culvert length is 31'-6". Bradford Township is providing the culvert through the COSTARS program. The project also includes the furnishing and installing of a 40-foot-long temporary bridge on the temporary roadway. The temporary bridge roadway approaches will be constructed by the supervisors. All materials must meet current PennDOT specifications, and be Bulletin 15 approved, except for the temporary bridge. Bidders must demonstrate their qualifications to assemble and install structural plate pipe-arch structures. The bid will not be awarded to a bidder who cannot adequately demonstrate the necessary qualifications. A bid bond, or certified check, in an amount equal to 10% of the bid price, is required with the bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the bid price. The township reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
