Renovation of an educational facility in Oxnard, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of existing roofing systems at Ramona School. All work is to be performed according to the full project plans, specifications, and contract documents, and requires the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for project completion in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and district requirements. The contractor must coordinate with the district regarding site access, logistics, and designated staging areas, and conduct all activities in a manner that minimizes disruption and ensures the safety of students, staff, and campus operations. Instructions to bidders include the requirement to attend a mandatory pre-bid job walk, submission of bid proposals in compliance with the Instructions for Bidders, provision of bid security as specified, possession of a C-39 California Contractors License at the time of contract award, and proper registration with the Department of Industrial Relations. The project is subject to prevailing wage laws, and all required job-site notices must be posted. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or waive any irregularities or informalities in accordance with applicable laws.
