The scope includes thermoplastic refurbishing of existing striping and reflective pavement markings. All striping shall be 60 mil thermoplastic refurbishment. The following roads are included: CR 761 from US 17 to CR769 (3.3 mi), SW Aster Avenue from CR 760 to SW Sunflower Street (0.51 mi), SW Sunflower Street from SW Aster Avenue to SW Jasmine Avenue (0.26 mi), SW Jasmine Avenue from SW Sunflower Street to SW Terrel Street (0.34 mi), SW Terrel Street from CR 760 to CR 760 (0.31 mi), SW Tulip Avenue from SW Sunflower Street to SW Terrel Street (0.18 mi), SW Holly Avenue from SW Rose Street to SW Terrel Street (0.08 mi), SW Rose Street from SW Jasmine Avenue to SW Holly Avenue (0.17 mi), SE Lovejoy Street from SR31 to SE Brown Road (0.6 mi), NW Pearce Street from SR72 to End of maintenance/Curve (0.5 mi), NW Wuthrich Drive from Curve to Curve (0.3 mi), SE Kings Street from SE Airport Road to SW Hillsborough Avenue (0.97 mi). Contractor shall install 24” white stripe stop bars at the intersections of all adjoining County roadways. All surface preparation and daylighting of vegetation on road surface will be performed by DeSoto County prior to striping if needed. The Contractor shall meet with DeSoto County to confirm the scope in the field prior to starting work and is required to notify the County Engineering Division at least 24 hours prior to striping operations each workday. All work shall be complete within 45 calendar days of the notice to proceed. The total contract will be for 60 calendar days to allow time for County inspection and correction of deficiencies if noted.
