Site work for a water / sewer project in Burlington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the installation of approximately 19,700 linear feet of 8-inch watermain and appurtenances, including all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project. Bids must include a bid bond equal to five percent of the bid. The awarded contractor will be required to furnish a surety bond equal to one hundred percent of the contract amount. Bid security must be provided by a surety licensed in Kentucky. Addenda must be applied when calculating bids and certified in submitted bid packets. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty days after the scheduled receipt time. The Court reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, negotiate modifications, or accept the bid deemed most desirable and advantageous in terms of value, service, and operations, not necessarily the lowest price.
