ADA Conversion -752 A Mallory Circle, Construction, Maintenance, Support and Repair Services. Each firm that submits a proposal is responsible to carefully review and comply with the Terms, Conditions and Instructions provided, and by submitting a proposal agrees to do so. Questions regarding the proposal or any attached documents should be submitted using the "Questions and Answers" area for documentation and visibility to all vendors. The Respondent shall perform such services as required by ACHA to complete the work as defined herein and shall provide labor, equipment, and services necessary to perform and complete, in an acceptable manner, the tasks contemplated or otherwise required herein in accordance with. Scope of Work is as follows: o A site visit is required o All work will comply with the blueprints provided and modernization handbook, with the exception of any changes listed below. o Contractor to provide all material (except items listed below), tools, equipment, and labor necessary to reconstruct apartment per drawing and specifications (Contractor to verify all dimensions). All dimensions will comply with current ADA regulations. o Mechanical closet door to be 2' 4" wide o Rear entry door to be widened to 36" and brick work cut back to accommodate new door and frame o 12 ga or heavier wiring for circuits (no 14 ga) o Construct firewall in the attic space at adjoining apartment if needed o Shower unit will be ADA compliant pre-fab fiberglass unit o A 2" bathroom floor drain with trap primer will be added by contractor o Concrete floor in bathroom must be ground down or reworked to provide a sufficient slope to floor drain o Worksite dumpster should be located in such a way as to cause the least amount of impedance to tenants living nearby Contractor will always keep site safe and secure, provide for removal of construction debris (no debris left more than 48 hrs), and provide toilet facilities (to be locked when not in use) for workers. o Work should be restricted to the hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday except when preapproved by ACHA
