Replacement of two horizontal split case centrifugal high service pumps at the Elk Run Water Treatment Plant, including the replacement of the associated electrical power equipment and revisions to the plant control system. The project also comprises associated demolition, mechanical, and other related items. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bidder’s maximum bid price. Preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa, and resident bidders may receive preference over nonresident bidders based on the laws of their home state or country. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and accept the bid deemed most advantageous. Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
