Contract No. -1-2026 - Replacement of two horizontal split case centrifugal high service pumps at the Elk Run Water Treatment Plant, including the replacement of the associated electrical power equipment and revisions to the plant control system. The project also comprises associated demolition, mechanical, and other related items. substantially complete - July 30, 2027, Final completion- August 27, 2027. Question Deadline 06/02/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. All requests for interpretation must be received at least five business days prior to the day set for receiving Bids. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bidder's maximum bid price. Preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within the State of Iowa, and resident bidders may receive preference over nonresident bidders based on the laws of their home state or country. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and accept the bid deemed most advantageous. Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. All further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award are outlined in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents.
