Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cincinnati, Ohio. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related construction services necessary to complete the 539-26-504 Install SCI Patient Lifts project. The work includes inspection of existing conditions, removal of existing ceiling lift systems where applicable, and installation of new Arjo Maxi Sky 600 patient lift systems in designated rooms within the Spinal Cord Injury unit. Construction activities include demolition of outdated lift components, installation of new ceiling track systems, required electrical connections, and complete functional testing of the installed lifts. The contractor shall coordinate closely with facility staff to minimize disruption to patient care and ensure continuity of operations. The project is intended to improve patient safety, enhance staff efficiency, and maintain compliance with VA standards for patient mobility and handling equipment. All phases of work, including testing and closeout documentation, shall be completed within 180 calendar days following issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of construction is estimated between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000.
