Initiating Organization: Engineering District 2-0 Agreement Type: Project Specific 100% State Funded: No Services Requested: Design and Misc Services Selection Process: Modified Part 1 Location Description State Route/Section Engineering District 2-0 / Part Name: Clinton County SR 64 VRU - Preliminary Design Project Description: Part 1 is the Preliminary Design for vulnerable road user enhancements in Clinton, Juniata, and Mifflin counties. There are various intersections throughout these counties that are either rural or urban in classification. The current ADTs and speed limits range up to 7864 and 55 mph. The method of traffic control will need to be evaluated during preliminary design, but daytime 100 series PATAs with general application 06 is anticipated. Required services will include but not be limited to: Project Management (Administration/Scheduling/Meetings), Surveys, Design Field View Package, Preliminary M.P. & T Plans, Preliminary Traffic Signal Design, Utility Coordination, and Preliminary Right-of-Way Plans. Department will complete the environmental documents with supplemental information provided by the consultant. Anticipated NTP: 11/12/26 Project Time: Day Time Part 2 Location Description State Route/Section Engineering District 2-0 / Part Name: Clinton County SR 64 VRU - Final Design Project Description: Part 2 is the Final Design for vulnerable road user enhancements as described under Part 1. Required services will include but not be limited to: Project Management (Administration/Scheduling/Meetings), Supplemental Surveys, Constructability Review Coordination, Utility Engineering, Final Right-of-Way Plans, Final Structure Plans, Traffic Control Plans, and P.S. & E package preparation. Anticipated NTP: 5/8/28 Project Time: Day Time Part 3 Location Description State Route/Section Engineering District 2-0 / Part Name: Clinton County SR 64 VRU-Construction Consultation Project Description: Part 3 is the Construction Consultation and shop drawing review for vulnerable road user enhancements as described under Part 1. Required services will include but not limited to: Post Design Activities, Shop Drawing Review and Construction Consultation.
