Site work for a development in Redmond, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a 40,000-square-foot development.

The work consists of providing labor and materials to complete site preparation, plant trees and/or shrubs per detail, install a temporary irrigation system or provide seasonal watering as specified per site, and provide three years of maintenance on a total of 40,000 square feet of property at three separate work sites in Redmond, WA. Bids are solicited from licensed contractors to complete these tasks. Question due by 6/5/2026 at 2:00 PM. Please submit to Katia Matuzova at kimatuzova@redmond.gov Provide labor and materials to complete site preparation , plant trees and / or shrubs per detail , install a temporary irrigation system or seasonal watering as specified per site , and provide three (3 ) years of maintenance on a total of 40,000 sf of property at three separate work sites in Redmond , WA . Site preparation may begin as early as July with planting beginning no earlier than September 1 and all work shall be completed by September 30 , 2026 . Work Site Locations : Site 1 Idylwood Park - 21,000 sf 3650 West Lake Sammamish Parkway NE Redmond , WA Access to work site is via service road w / bollard on E side of East Lake Sammamish Parkway @ NE 36th St. Site 2 Hartman Park - 14,000 sf 17300 NE 104th St Redmond , WA Access to the work site is via parking lot at S end of 172nd Ave. NE Site 3 Redmond Central Connector / Eastrail - 5,000 sf North of NE 90th St , E side of trail Redmond , WA Access to work site is via the trail @ NE 90th St. Task # 1 - Planting Preparation - Site 1 Remove non -native groundcover ( ivy , hypericum , etc. ). Retain native vegetation where applicable . Existing turf area can be planted into directly without additional prep . Task # 2 -Tree and Shrub Planting - Site 1 o Purchase and plant the trees and shrubs listed below . Plant layout to be approved by the City Project Administrator . Trees should be planted ~20 ' on center , shrubs 5-10 '. 12 ' clearance will be maintained from pre -defined trail and service road locations . Arborists mulch shall be applied at a depth of 4-6 over the entire site following plant installation . Trees and shrubs shall be installed in soil to their developed root crown . o Tree and shrub stems shall not be covered with soil or mulch .
