The work includes removal, replacement, and testing of existing utilities on shore and along the pier at Coos Bay. Utility work includes replacement of approximately 300 feet of potable water piping, related fittings, valves, drain plugs, elbows, pipe supports, and a backflow preventer. Electrical work includes replacement of two approximately 300-foot runs of electrical conduit and cabling, along with associated switches, junction boxes, receptacles, circuit breakers, transformers, and equipment supporting 120V, 240V, and 480V service. The project also includes replacing an existing 600V, 225A circuit breaker with a 600V, 400A circuit breaker, associated cabling, and required testing. Additional work includes removal and replacement of three light posts with reconnection to existing systems, replacement of wooden pier railings constructed of 2x4, 4x4, and 6x6 members with plastic lumber, replacement of an existing life ring attached to piping, and removal and replacement of wooden steps providing access to a floating dock. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The anticipated period of performance for work is 01 January 2027 - 30 April 2027. Location: Coos Bay Pier, Coos Bay, OR 97420.
