The project involves milling, base repair, and paving of specified roadways within Perkasie Borough. All material, labor, and equipment must comply with PennDOT Publication 408 and Borough Standards. Asphalt materials are to be based on PennDOT's May 2026 Asphalt Cement Price Index. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for at least ten percent of the bid amount payable to the Borough of Perkasie. The successful bidder must provide proof of insurance and furnish performance, payment, and maintenance bonds for 100% of the contract amount, with security from an approved surety company. The project is subject to Act 89, Transportation and Vehicle Code Omnibus Amendments, and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bids may be modified or withdrawn by appropriate executed documents prior to bid opening. Bids may be withdrawn within two business days after opening, following statutory requirements.
