Renovation of a library in Holbrook, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

The Sachem Public Library will receive separate, sealed bids for the construction contract for the Studio Renovation Project. Question Deadline 05/22/2026 at 5:00 PM ET All questions and requests for clarifications must be submitted in writing via e-mail John Tanzi, Project Architect John Tanzi Architects email: jtanzi@jtarchitects.net WORK DESCRIPTION A. Provide all plant facilities, labor, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, transportation, supervision, and related work necessary or incidental to complete the work specified in this Section and as shown on the Drawings. B. The Drawings indicate the extent and general arrangements of the Plumbing Systems. If any departures from the Drawings are deemed necessary by the Plumbing Contractor, details of such departures and the reasons shall be submitted to the Owner and Engineer for approval. No such departures shall be made without prior written approval of the Owner and Engineer. Equipment and piping arrangements shall provide adequate and acceptable clearances for entry, servicing, and maintenance. C. Plumbing Contractor shall be responsible for consulting with the General Contractor and others indicating locations of openings for his work. WORK INCLUDED A. Unless otherwise noted on the drawings the following is to be implemented. 1. Sanitary drainage system (from Factory Manufactured Units to 5 foot outside of building). 2. Roof storm drainage systems (from Factory Manufactured Units to 5 foot outside of building). 3. Water supply system to (from existing Building to Factory Manufactured Units). 4. Sleeves, inserts, and hangers. 5. Required valved water piping. 6. Insulation & fire stopping. 7. Pipe identification, valve tags, and charts. 8. Copper drip pans. 9. Core drilling. 10. Operating and maintenance manuals. 11. Lubricants. 12. Special tools.
