Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Beccaria, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Sealed proposals are requested for the following: T-891, 0.81 miles, 1 bituminous seal coat, double application, 7883 SY. Proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the Municipality. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond amounting to 10% of the bid, made payable to the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Place double application Bituminous Seal Coat consisting of RS-2PM (formerly E-2M) or CRS-2PM (formerly E-3M) oil with modifier and Type A, No. 8 aggregate. Conduct compatibility test to ensure compatibility of oil and stone. All aggregate must meet PTM 100, loss by wash no greater than 1.0%. Provide the municipality with a copy of the compatibility test results prior to the start of work. Contractor shall provide a seal coat design according to Pennsylvania Design Method for Surface treatments.
