Renovation of a mixed-use development in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; educational facility; and educational facility.
The work consists of Capital Improvements at the High School, Middle School, and Wexford Elementary School under multiple Prime Contracts for General Construction, Asbestos Abatement Construction, Plumbing/Fire Protection Construction, and Electrical Construction. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the company name, address, and the contract being bid, indicating capital improvements. Each bid must include a proposal guaranty of not less than ten percent of the total Base Bid, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, a Qualification Questionnaire, and a Pennsylvania Certificate of Authority (if applicable). Bidders are required to register to receive notifications of addenda and project update information, and access to the DFS Project Website. The project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are encouraged to review the project site conditions at a pre-bid meeting. Questions regarding the bidding documents must be submitted in writing using the Pre-Bid RFI form available on the project website. Phone calls are not accepted. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bids or parts thereof, or to waive informality in the bidding.
