Renovation and addition to a library in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade library; and one-story above grade library.

The project consists of restroom renovations and addition at Northern Tier Regional Library. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each contractor is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. Any and all steel products used or supplied in the performance of the contract or any subcontracts shall be from steel made in the United States. The Owner reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received. No bidder may withdraw its bid for sixty (60) days after the Bid Due Date, unless the contract award is delayed by a required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case the Bids shall remain open to acceptance and shall be irrevocable for a period of sixty (60) after the Bid Due Date. Work under Contract 2025-01 covers the furnishing of all labor, material, plant, utilities, and services required for the renovation of existing restroom facilities and appurtenances. The project is located in Richland Township, Allegheny County, PA. The project consists of restroom renovations and addition at Northern Tier Regional Library. The work is shown on the Contract Documents prepared by KLH Engineers, Inc All work shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. All materials and equipment furnished shall conform to the descriptions and requirements and all work shall be constructed complete in order to provide the OWNER with an operable installation which is ready for service. B. Work under Contract No. 2025-01 includes work shown on the Drawings and described in these Technical Specifications in: Division 1, Summary of Work; Division 3, Concrete; Division 6, Woods and Plastics; Division 8, Doors and Windows; Division 9, Finishes. Division 10, Specialties; Division 15 Mechanical, and Division 16, Electrical. Provide demolition of existing three (3) restrooms and janitor room as indicated on contract drawings. 2. Supply install and completely wire new interior light fixtures, exhaust fans, receptacles and occupancy light switches in the four (4) restrooms as indicated on contract drawings. 3. Supply install and completely wire new fire/smoke detectors and alarm strobes/horns as indicated on contract drawings. Tie into existing alarm circuits as required. 4. Provide new plumbing fixtures, partitions, hot/cold/sanitary piping, doors and all appurtenances for new restrooms as indicated on the contract drawings. 5. Provide new materials and finishes as indicated on the contract drawings finish schedule
