Allegheny Countys Public Works department needs Liquid Calcium Chloride, in a 32% concentration, to be used as a wetting solution for road salt and anti-skid materials Questions Due Date: Aug 22nd 2024, 11:30 AM EDT PERIOD OF CONTRACT: October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2026 with two (2), one (1) year renewal options. Locations for County of Allegheny The County's total storage is 3525 gallons at six (6) locations listed below. District 1 - 2154 Wildwood Road, Gibsonia, PA 15044, 1,300 Gals District 2 - 1040 Campbells Run Road, Carnegie, PA 15106, 400 Gals District 3 - 500 Railroad Street, Unity, PA 15235, 300 Gals District 4 - 460 Lovedale Road, Elizabeth, PA 15037, 1,300 Gals District 8 - 1305 Pittsburgh McKeesport Blvd, West Mifflin, PA 15122, 300 Gals South Park, 300 McConkey Road, South Park, PA 15129, 450 Gals The Allegheny County Department of Equity and Inclusion (MBE/WBE/DBE) has established in connection with this contract, the goals of 13 percent of the original amount for the utilization of MBEs and 2 percent of the original contract amount for the utilization of WBEs. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, also the right to waive any minor discrepancies in the bids when deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
