Remodeling and renovation of a mixed-use development in Marion, Indiana. Conceptual plans call for the remodel of a medical facility; and for the renovation of a medical facility.
Provide professional architectural and engineering services for 100 percent design to remodel Building 41 at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Marion Campus. Services shall include schematic design, design development, preparation of construction and bid documents in accordance with the A/E Design Submission Instructions, technical specifications, detailed cost estimates, and construction administration services. The work involves remodeling a historical building and requires coordination with State Historic Preservation Office Section 106 requirements, incorporation of asbestos abatement into the design, use of certified industrial hygienist services for abatements and air monitoring, and coordination with third-party commissioning agents and construction cost estimators. All architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and other engineering features shall be prepared or reviewed and approved by properly registered professionals in compliance with applicable federal regulations and standards. Location: VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Marion Campus, Building 41, 1700 E. 38th Street, Marion, IN 46953. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
