A Unified Bid is requested for all work in this project, including General, Mechanical, and Electrical Construction work related to the replacement of the north fascia LED display at Memorial Stadium, Indiana University Bloomington. Each bid must include a completed Minority, Women’s and Veteran’s Business Enterprise Participation Plan, detailing efforts to include minority, women, and veteran-owned enterprises as subcontractors or material suppliers; a bid security for 5% of the total bid; and the contractor’s written drug testing program in compliance with IC 4-13-18. Bids must be submitted electronically on www.iuplanroom.com by registered bidders. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive irregularities in bidding. The Base Bid may be held for up to sixty days before awarding contracts, and all Alternate Bids may be held for up to ninety days before award and incorporation into the contract by proper Change Directive. If the successful Bidder withdraws their bid or fails to execute a satisfactory contract within 10 days of acceptance, the Bid Security may be forfeited as liquidated damages.
