This project consists of the comprehensive renovation of two adjacent academic buildings serving the University of Kentucky College of Education, delivered through the university's Asset Preservation Program. The Consultant will provide full professional design services from programming through project completion for both facilities. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: o Partial or full demolition of the existing gymnasium o Code-required improvements, including life safety and accessibility o Roof improvements o HVAC upgrades o Electrical services and distribution upgrades o Lighting upgrades o Plumbing upgrades o Sprinkler system upgrades o Controls upgrades o Interior finish improvements throughout o New and upgraded restrooms o Installation of a new elevator o Technology improvements for classrooms o Creation of a student-focused area supporting recruitment, advising, collaboration, and study
