The work generally includes construction of a municipal wellhouse with exterior dimensions of 22’x22’, including cast-in-place concrete foundation and floor, masonry block walls, trussed asphalt shingle roof, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, controls, process piping, and chemical feed system. Installation of well pump, column piping, pitless unit, and approximately 600LF of water main piping with associated appurtenances. Site work includes grading, CABC driveway, chain link fence with electric gate, seeding, pavement patching, sidewalk, and erosion control. Water system SCADA improvements are required at all three wellhouses, elevated storage tank, and wastewater facility. Electrical, architectural, HVAC, plumbing, and process mechanical improvements are included for existing wellhouses 1 & 2. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders must accompany their bids with a bid security and will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price. Bidders must indicate proposed equipment and subcontractors who will be performing major portions of the work. No conditional or qualified bids will be accepted. Bidders and their suppliers must not be listed in the GSA publication 'List of Parties Excluded from Federal Procurement and Non-procurement Programs.'
