Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Pellston, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project is to mill existing parking lots and install a new finish layer with pavement markings at the Pellston Elementary and Middle/High Schools. The scope includes removing 1-1/2" of existing asphalt pavement, repairing any damaged lot areas including subsurface materials if necessary, and installing a new 2" finish layer with pavement markings at both specified school locations. There is also an alternate option to remove 1" of existing asphalt pavement, repair damaged areas, and install a new 1 1/2" finished layer with pavement markings. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Superintendent and marked for the Parking Lot Resurfacing Projects. The district reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive any technicalities or irregularities. Bidders are encouraged, but not required, to visit the project site to verify site limitations, layout, and exact condition or location of the project. Question Deadline 05/29/2026 All inquiries related to this RFP shall be directed in writing, via e-mail to the person named below (the District Representative). Questions regarding the substance of the RFP or scope of services must be submitted via e-mail to Stephen Seelye at sseelye@pellstonschools.org the school districts representative on this project. Submissions by email will be accepted. Inquiries should be made no later than 3 days before Proposal Closing Time.
