Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Pasco, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project involves the relocation of 4 portable classrooms from Chiawana High School to Reynolds Middle School, both located in the City of Pasco. The Site Work bid package includes bringing electrical service to the portable location at Reynolds, minor work to the parking lot area where the portables are to be placed, and reconfiguring another parking lot at Reynolds by modifying landscape areas and adding a new driveway at Burns Rd. The Portable Repair bid package involves repair work to the 4 portables including roofing, paint and interior repairs of ceiling tiles, carpeting, and wall patching after relocation to Reynolds Middle School. Prospective General Contractor bidders and subcontractors may electronically access the Bid Documents starting May 18, 2026. Printed documents will not be provided, and any required printing will be at the bidder's expense. Bid Documents can be accessed at Tri-City Construction Council, 20 East Kennewick Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336. A current Plan Holders list will be maintained by Tri-City Construction Council. Notice of any addenda and updated information will only be published on the Tri-City Construction Council website. Bids will be on a lump-sum basis awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informalities in the bidding. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 30 days subsequent to the opening of the bids without the written consent of the Owner. There are 2 bid packages, which will be evaluated individually and awarded separately. This project is subject to Franklin County prevailing wage rate requirements. Bidders are required to have a current Washington State Contractor's license at the time of submitting bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond with a State Licensed Surety, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid. This surety shall be forfeited in event of failure by the successful bidder to sign a contract or to furnish the necessary one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bonds. The Owner notifies all bidders that minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunities to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, handicap, or national origin in consideration for an award.
