Sealed proposals are solicited for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment entering into the construction of the Kill Devil Hills Water Systems Building. Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract. Complete plans and specifications for the project are available for digital download or as hard copies, which may be obtained from Oakley Collier Architects. There will be an open Pre-Bid Meeting to address project-specific questions, issues, bidding procedures, and bid forms. The project location is 703 Fresh Pond Drive Kill Devil Hills 27948. It includes the construction of a gas-heated 7,622 gsf pre-engineered metal building with masonry walls. The building is a sixbay garage with conditioned internal support spaces, offices, restrooms, storage, and 583 sf mezzanine. Gross sf includes 622 sf enclosed second floor and 796 sf exterior covered bay. Site improvements include a 12,200 sf parking lot and demolition of a 900 sf one-story garage.
