Paint to follow design guidelines on plan provided Preparation of walls for painting Paint used shall be the brand, color, and finish as specified in plan Trim to be painted color noted on plans, as needed if it is marred. Repair peeling paint, cracks, etc. All signage and wall mounted items to be removed by Library staff prior to contractor starting work. Any items left on the walls should be painted around. Any fixtures should be painted around. Any additional work not in this scope will be assessed by the Project Manager and require preapproval before a change order is given. The City of Davenport is currently accepting bids from qualified vendors for interior painting at the Fairmount Library. Then there will be time for contractors to take measurements, review the scope of work, address any questions or concerns, and discuss the City's expectations. All contractors intending to bid on this project are encouraged to have a representative in attendance as contractors are responsible for exact measurements. Bids must be submitted through the City of Davenport e-bidding system no emails, faxes, paper copies or any other submission method will be accepted. Within the system, each tab of the Invitation to Bid must be reviewed and responded to accordingly.
