Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are being requested for the 2026 Paving Project. The scope of work includes: 602 tons of Superpave, Wearing Course, 9.5mm Mix, PG 64S-22, 0-0.3 Million ESALs, SRL-G, at a depth of 1.5 inches, and 7,293 square yards of milling of asphalt surfaces at a depth of 1.5 inches. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the Municipality. For third class cities, bids must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the municipality. For other municipal types, requirements are at the municipality's discretion. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
