Site work for a water / sewer project in Leonville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids will be received for Water Distribution System Improvements for the Town of Leonville. The work consists of furnishing and installing approximately 21,300 feet of 6-inch C-900/DR-18 water main, along with associated work. Only bids from contractors licensed under Louisiana Contractor's Licensing Law and classified under Municipal and Public Works Construction will be considered for bids exceeding $50,000.00. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee equal to 5% of the base bid plus any additive alternates, which may be a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check. The successful contractor must execute a performance bond and a payment bond in the full amount of the contract. Bidding documents may be examined and obtained at the offices listed, with a fully refundable deposit on paper documents if returned within 10 days after the receipt of bids. Bidding documents are also available electronically without charge. Each bid must be submitted using the Louisiana Uniform Public Work Bid Form provided. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. The Work Shall Consist of Furnishing and Installing Approximately 21,300' of 6" PVC Water Main (Class 100), 75' of 3" PVC Water Main (DR-26), 8" PE Directional Bore at Bayou Teche, Along with Associated Work.
