Site work and paving for a road / highway in Amberg, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Town of Amberg is requesting bids for the LRIP Project. The work involves fine grading, watering, and compacting a gravel surface to 230#/s.y. for overlay with 2-inch hot mix asphalt. The total road base is to be 24 feet wide with a 20-foot asphalt surface and 2-foot shoulders, using gravel provided by the Town of Amberg. The project area is Barker Road from Hwy 141 to Mattison Lane, approximately 1.5 miles in length. Bids must be submitted to the clerk's office before 1 pm on the specified due date, clearly marked as "Barker Road Project Bid" in the lower left-hand corner and addressed to the Town Clerk, PO Box 245, Amberg, WI 54102. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to make the award in the best interest of the Town of Amberg. Work to be completed Fall 2026 at the latest.
