Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Holton, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work includes but is not limited to the purchase and installation of a diesel-powered generator at the District’s surface water plant. The generator set must be a minimum of 550kw with a sub-base fuel tank of a capacity to run 24-hours at full load. The generator fuel must be enough to fill the tank initially. The generator pad must have a minimum size to provide 30 inches of free space on all four sides of the generator as installed. Qualified minority-owned, women’s business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. Bids must comply with applicable federal requirements including Equal Employment Opportunity, Copeland “Anti-Kickback” Act, Davis-Bacon Act (if applicable), Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, Debarment and Suspension, and Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment. No bid bond or certified check is required to participate. A performance bond (100%) is required for contracts exceeding $250,000. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, considering price and other factors. The District reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
