The Township of Montgomery is accepting bids for the 2026 Retrofits to Stormwater Basins project which includes modifications to the Catbriar Court and Red Fox Run Court detention basins to promote infiltration, address water quality, and improve hydraulic operation. General work includes but is not limited to survey stakeout, installation of soil erosion and sediment control measures, removal of low flow channels, protection or replacement of underdrains, regrading, soil removal and disposal, placement of compost mulch, deep soil tilling, storm sewer outlet structure modifications or replacement, tree maintenance and planting, soil preparation, plantings, seeding and mulching, and installation of educational signs provided by Montgomery Township. The contract includes provisions for a plant establishment and two-year maintenance guarantee for all planted areas. The contractor will be responsible for the following: For trees and shrubs, watering, pruning, weeding and replacement of individual dead plants and their protection fencing/cages if damaged, are required for a period of two years from substantial completion. Dead plants will be replaced in the subsequent planting period from time of identification. This work must be substantially completed by Friday, September 18, 2026.
