Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of replacement of the asphalt greenway, widening the trail with gravel shoulders, and slight realignment of the trail. It also includes the replacement and raising of the timber boardwalk through the lake. Instructions to bidders include obtaining complete plans, specifications, and contract documents at no charge by contacting the Engineer via email or phone. Bidders must provide company name, contact person, street address, phone number, email address, North Carolina contractor’s license with limitation and classification, and indicate if they will be a Prime bidder, Supplier, or Sub-Contractor. Bidders must provide evidence of licensing as required by North Carolina law. Bid security of five percent (5%) of the bid is required. Bidders must identify certified MWBE participation in their bids and document Good Faith Efforts to identify certified MWBEs, with a goal of 15% MWBE participation for applicable projects. All bidders must demonstrate a good faith effort to meet this goal.
