Sealed bid proposals are invited for "SR-91 Emergency Watermain Improvements". Each bid must include the full names of the parties making the bid, an affidavit as to interested parties, and, for corporations not chartered in Ohio, a certificate authorizing them to do business in Ohio. Bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. Bidders must ensure nondiscrimination in employment. Contract documents, including plans and specifications, are available digitally free of charge by contacting GPD Group. The successful bidder, prior to contract execution, must provide a Performance Bond for the contract amount, evidence of General Liability Insurance for $1,000,000 naming the City as an additional insured, and evidence of Workers' Compensation coverage. The City reserves the right to consider factors other than price, reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, and accept the bid deemed most favorable to the City. The engineer's probable cost for the project totals $490,000.00 (Base Bid plus Alternate Bid).
