Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of work includes the installation of bituminous speed tables, rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) sign assemblies, concrete sidewalk, concrete curb, ADA curb ramps with detectable warning surface, inlets, stormwater manhole and piping, signage, line striping, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for the construction. Add alternates include asphalt milling and resurfacing, base repair, and pavement markings as needed, along with all necessary restoration for the construction. Bidders are required to purchase the Bid Documents from QuestCDN for a non-refundable deposit. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond amounting to ten percent of the bid, made payable to the Township, as a guarantee of the bidder’s entrance into the contract if awarded. Proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the Township. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Bidders must comply with all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and the Public Works Employment Verification Act. Compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, PA Code Title 16, and the Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause is required. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any informalities in the bidding.
