Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in North Palm Beach, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.
The Parking Lot Enhancement Project will add approximately 100 parking spaces to the Country Club property by eliminating one or two bays (2 or 4 courts) of tennis courts, which will be determined during the planning phase of the project. This addition of parking for the better overall use of the club provides an opportunity to significantly enhance the tennis center, utilizing the space currently occupied by employee parking. These enhancements will conceptually include four brand-new courts, renovation of the remaining existing 8 courts to replace the outdated irrigation design, dilapidated fencing, and a new centrally located modular tennis center facility. The project is designed to alleviate morning congestion on the courts, while increasing revenue by supporting a broader range of programming-including leagues, clinics, lessons, events, memberships, and social play. New fencing and additional lighting will be installed as needed. A modular tennis center building will be centrally located between the courts. The facility will include: A front desk and pro shop with retail Professional staff offices A multipurpose room Restrooms A small café A wrap-around deck for viewing and socializing The perimeter fence will connect directly to the new building to ensure controlled access through the tennis shop, streamlining entry and registration. The first phase of this project will be to provide a conceptual plan with pricing to ensure a viable amount of parking and tennis courts.
