This project consists of the replacement of up to a maximum of 5,025 square feet of 4-inch residential concrete sidewalk, 250 square feet of 5-inch commercial sidewalk, and 1,025 square feet of 6-inch driveway sidewalk. Specifications and proposal forms may be obtained at the office of the Borough Engineer with a $30 deposit fee, refundable if all forms are returned clean and intact by the date and time of bid opening. Contractors may also obtain bid packets electronically by contacting the Borough. Bidders who received plans and specifications from sources other than State College Borough must register as plan holders by calling the Borough. All bids must be sealed, plainly marked, and accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid, payable to the Borough. Bids shall remain irrevocable for 45 days after the opening, or 120 days if award is delayed due to required approval, sale of bonds, or grants.
