Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Bend, Oregon. Completed plans call civil work for a bridge / tunnel and water / sewer project.
The proposed work consists of furnishing, offloading, staging and installing approximately 26,000 linear feet of 60-inch I.D. HDPE Profile-Wall Pipe or 63-inch O.D. Solid-Wall HDPE Pipe and approximately 820 linear feet of 48-inch O.D. Solid-Wall HDPE Pipe with all associated bends, tees, and end connections. The project includes the removal of an existing temporary concrete intake structure and two County Bridges, along with other bridges and culverts. A new reinforced concrete inlet structure will be furnished and installed with two relocated traveling screens. Additional work involves mobilization, selective demolition, tree removal, trenching, earthwork, backfill, compaction, surface restoration, and coordination of utility locations and relocations. The project will also furnish and install meter assemblies, stub turnouts, cleanouts with air and vacuum valve assemblies, valves, valve cans, and all appurtenances necessary to provide a complete project ready for irrigation delivery. The time for substantial completion will commence with access to the Project area for clearing, grubbing, staking and staging (water may still be in canal) on July 31, 2026, and access to the canal (water off) on August 31, 2026. The substantial completion period will end on April 15, 2027. Restoration, demobilization from the site, and all closeout and punch-list items are to be completed by April 30, 2027.
