Asphalt and Catch Basin Repairs and Sidewalk Installation. The project is located in Orange County and Ulster County, New York. The Valley Central School District is seeking bids from qualified contractors to perform drainage structure repairs, concrete sidewalk reconstruction, and asphalt pavement restoration. Work includes the repair of three (3) existing catch basins, removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete sidewalk areas, and asphalt pavement repair in a high-traffic location. The Contractor shall coordinate work to maintain safe pedestrian and vehicular access and restore all disturbed areas to pre-construction condition or better. 1 Remove 12' x 40' (480 SF) area of asphalt top coat and replace with 1.5" NYSDOT Item No. 402.098203 2 Modification to existing cleanout. The remaining two (2) catch basin repair details will be shared via addendum; however, all catch basin repairs shall be completed in a similar manner, using the same materials, construction methods, and quality standards. The Contractor shall verify all existing field conditions and shall perform all work necessary to provide a complete, functional, and durable finished product.
