Barnsdall Public Works Authority seeks sealed bids for the Bird Creek Force Main Project. All work must be performed, and all construction and materials used and furnished, in accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by Ward Engineering, LLC. Plans and specifications for the project may be examined at the City Clerk's Office or at Ward Engineering, LLC. Complete sets may be purchased for a non-refundable fee, and digital copies are available online for a separate fee. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check from an Oklahoma bank or a Bidder's Bond in the amount of five percent of the bid as a guarantee that the bidder will enter a contract and furnish required bonds in accordance with the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974. Construction, Maintenance, and Statutory Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price are required for the project and must be provided by a corporate surety licensed in Oklahoma and approved by the Owner and Consulting Engineer. The Maintenance Bond will guarantee repairs of damage due to improper materials or workmanship for one year after acceptance of the work. Each bidder must submit a sworn statement that they have not entered any agreement with any other bidder regarding the price or amount of the bid or limiting bidding or bidders, nor paid anyone for promotion expenses or divided any part of the contract or profits. Bids received more than ninety-six hours before the bid opening will be returned. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to correct non-material clerical errors. Conditional bids will not be accepted. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not required to submit a bid. This project is tax exempt, and sales tax should not be included in bids.
