Site work for a water / sewer project in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this project is to reconstruct the Waxhoma Dam using reinforced concrete secant walls at the Waxhoma dam site. Site will be drained to grade and erosion control established. A certified or cashier's check or Bidder's Surety Bond, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of Contract A Total Base Bid plus Contract B Total Base Bid will be required from each bidder at the time of bid, to be retained as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails, neglects or refuses to enter into said contract for the construction of said public improvements for said project, and furnish the necessary bonds within fifteen (15) days from and after the date the award is made. The successful contractor shall provide statutory, performance and maintenance bonds each in the amount of 100% of the Contract A Total Base Bid plus Contract B Total Base Bid. All work shall be completed within 330 Calendar Days for Contract A Base Bid and 330 Calendar Days for Contract B. Liquidated damages at the rate of $2500 per day for each contract shall be assessed for every day after the scheduled completion date until all work is completed. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all quotes in accordance with the Oklahoma Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974. Conditional quotes shall not be accepted.
