Site work for a religious / funeral development in San Bruno, California. Completed plans call for site work for a religious / funeral development.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, management, supplies, transportation, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform complete renovation of the designated cemetery sections. Work includes site surveying; development of grading and headstone realignment plans; vegetation removal; grading and drainage improvements; excavation and backfill; headstone identification and tagging; handling and temporary relocation of headstones; installation of flat marker geogrid support systems; reinstallation and realignment of upright headstones and flat markers; headstone cleaning; turf renovation; and full site restoration. The term headstone includes both upright headstones and flat markers. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with National Cemetery Administration standards. The contractor is responsible for all submittals, reviews, quality control, construction and repair services, punch list corrections, cleanup, invoicing, and closeout documentation. The total period of performance is 365 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Turf renovation activities are restricted to April 15 through June 30 for spring and August 15 through October 15 for fall, and turf must be fully established prior to the onset of winter, as bare ground is not acceptable. The magnitude of construction for this project is Between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000 Location: Golden Gate National Cemetery, Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, 1300 Sneath Lane, San Bruno, CA 94066. To preserve the integrity of the procurement process, all prebid questions and request for information must be submitted in writing to Michael Giaquinto, Contracting Officer via email at Michal.giaquinto2@va.gov. Questions must be received no later than June 8, 2026, at 2:00 pm EST. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
