Renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; and municipal facility.
Sealed bid proposals are sought for the City Hall Addition & Renovation Project. Bids must include the full name(s) of the parties making the bid, an affidavit as to interested parties, and if applicable, a certificate of authority for corporations not chartered in Ohio. Each bid must be accompanied by a bond, or a certified or cashier's check from a solvent bank, payable to the City of Shaker Heights, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total base bid. The bid bond or check serves as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be executed and the performance of such contract will be secured. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the bond or check as liquidated damages. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting and walk-through. Equal opportunity is emphasized, and full opportunity is afforded to Minority, Female, and Small Business Enterprises to submit bids for this project. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities, and accept the bid deemed most favorable.
