Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are requested for the following: ITEM 1: 53,890 square yards of Single Asphalt Seal Coat, In-Place (CRS-2P) ITEM 2: 7,156 square yards of Emulsified Asphalt Sealer/Binder 1:1 ITEM 3: 25,000 linear feet of Asphalt Joint and Crack Sealing (Quantity more or less) Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Municipality. For third class cities, the bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of 10% of the bid. For other municipal types, it is at the municipality's discretion. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract must be provided by the successful bidder within 20 days of contract award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
