Site work for a civil project in Chehalis, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project includes the restoration of streambank along the North Fork of the Newaukum River including: \b In-stream work area isolation, dewatering, and fish exclusion \b Apex ELJ (x7), including 98 rootwad log & 63 timber piles \b Bank Barb ELJ (x6), including 60 rootwad logs, 6 log poles, and 36 timber piles \b 3 Log Complexity Roughness, including 60 rootwad logs and 60 timber piles \b Meander Bend ELJ 1, including 93 rootwad logs and 44 timber piles \b Meander Bend ELJ 2, including 55 rootwad logs and 25 timber piles \b Meander Bend ELJ 3, including 77 rootwad logs and 35 timber piles \b Wood Collector ELJ, including 12 rootwad logs, 12 log poles, and 12 timber piles \b Riprap Removal, 230 CY \b Channel Excavation, including earthwork and off-site hauling, 4,400 CY \b Floodplain Swales, including earthwork and on-site placement, 3,800 CY \b Flood Fence, including 19 timber pile \b Bank Sloping, including earthwork and off-site hauling, 1,200 CY \b Seeding all disturbed areas This project is funded by grants administered by the Washington Department of Ecology. Washington State prevailing wage provisions apply to this project and contractors will be required to file a Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages to Department of Labor and Industries, as well as Affidavit of Wages Paid. All Bid Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a Cash, Cashier's Check, Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of such bid proposal. The Proposal Bond may be on DOT form 272-001 revised 01/2020 for Local Agency Use. All Bid Proposals shall be on forms from Lewis Conservation District. Paper bids shall be sealed and placed in an envelope, with the indication on the bottom left corner of said envelope, the project name, name of bidder, and date and time of opening, and then delivered to the Lewis Conservation District on or before the day and hour of the above mentioned bid opening. Lewis Conservation District reserves the right to accept or reject bids on each item separately or as a whole, to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and to contract as to the best interest of the Lewis Conservation District.
