A contractor is required to provide Passive Optical Network (PON) Equipment assembled within a service cabinet, delivered to Lewis County to support high speed broadband services. This procurement uses state and federal grant funds, and specific requirements will apply to bid responses. The awarded contractor must be registered or licensed as required by Washington state laws. A five percent bid guarantee in the form of a cashier's check, money order, or surety bond must be submitted with the bid. Failure to comply with any part of the solicitation instructions may result in rejection of the bid as non-responsive. The District reserves the right to reject all bids at its sole discretion and not issue a contract. Washington state prevailing wages may be required for work performed, subject to the higher of state or federal wage rates. Materials must comply with Domestic Preferences for Procurements (2 CFR § 200.322). Small, Minority, and Women owned businesses are encouraged to submit bids. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled. Bids must be submitted by the deadline and will be publicly read shortly thereafter.
