Work items include installation of 15" HDPP storm pipe (80 LF), HDPE flared end sections (4 each), 2A coarse aggregate road fill and grade breaks (536 tons), R-4 rock lined ditch (180 tons), R-5 rock outlets (68 tons), grass lined ditch (150 LF), 8" compost filter sock (280 LF), grass seed and mulch (230 SY), and other specified work with all quantities approximate. Bids must be submitted on the provided forms and be accompanied by bid security of 10% of the bid amount from acceptable surety. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities, eliminate work items, reduce item quantities as specified, or reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after opening. The project is funded in part by a grant from the Westmoreland Conservation District through the State Conservation Commission. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply, with wage determination and forms included in the bid package. No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other pre-bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. A pre-construction meeting will be scheduled with the Westmoreland Conservation District, the Contractor, the Owners Representatives and Bove Engineering Company soon after receiving all signed documents and before the Notice to Proceed is issued.
