Description

Renovation of a water / sewer project in Grosse Ile, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Sealed bids are requested for the Waste Water Treatment Plant Building’s Roof Replacement in Grosse Ile Township, Michigan. The project involves the following main items and approximate quantities of work: removing the existing roof to the deck, inspecting and replacing any structurally defective decking, attaching two layers of 2.6” ISO insulation board per manufacturer’s specifications over the entire roof to deck, installing a 60 mil white TPO Versico-VersiWeld fully adhered roofing system (or approved equal) to cover the WWTP building roof as per manufacturer’s specifications, removing and replacing existing gutters and downspouts, waterproofing all copping and overhang, capping copping, providing traffic maintenance and control, and performing restoration and clean up. Bidders must submit three copies of the bid in a sealed envelope, labeled appropriately. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check of not less than five percent of the proposed proposal amount must accompany each proposal as security. All bids must remain firm and may not be withdrawn for ninety days after the opening. The Township of Grosse Ile reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, waive any irregularity in any proposal, and make an award of contract in any manner deemed in its best interest. Proposals submitted after the specified time will not be considered.
