The project includes the removal of approximately 750 linear feet of concrete channel in the Town of Mount Gilead to facilitate a stream restoration in Stanback Park. The stream restoration will increase sinuosity and reduce the overall slope of the channel while improving the environment. The project also includes the replacement of an outdated pedestrian bridge at the park. Sealed bids for construction are required, and bid security must be furnished in accordance with the instructions to bidders.
