The work involves demolition of utilities in tunnels, re-routing water lines, and filling tunnels with grout at Woodward Resource Center, Woodward, Iowa. Bids must be received through the IMPACS Electronic Procurement System and be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid must include a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check drawn upon a solvent U.S. bank. Bidders must comply with all affirmative action and equal employment opportunity provisions of the State of Iowa and the Federal Government. The project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax. Davis Bacon Wages do not apply. Bidding documents may prescribe specific products, but substitutions are allowed with a written request prior to the deadline. Attendance at one of the two mandatory pre-bid meetings is required to qualify for bidding.
