Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Ararat, Virginia. Completed plans call civil work for a municipal facility.
The County of Patrick is requesting sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, and equipment necessary to construct the works of improvement at each site as shown on the plans and specifications. The Project includes furnishing all materials, labor, tools, and equipment necessary to construct the works of improvement at each site as shown on the plans and specifications. General items of work at each site are shown below. Dam 2 and Dam 63 • Replacement of the existing low-level drain gate, stem, stem guide and operator. • Replacement of the existing trash rack with a new stainless steel trash rack. • Sediment relocation around the riser to access the low-level drain gate. Dam 28 • Replacement of the existing low-level drain gate, stem, stem guide and operator. • Replacement of the existing reservoir drain inlet trash rack. It is anticipated that the following permits will be approved prior to start of construction: • VA DCR Dam Safety Alteration Permit • USACE Nationwide 404 Permit All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer via email. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents Question Deadline 06/09/2026
